The company’s 20nm DRAM conversion appears on track,
triple-level cell (TLC) NAND components are now ramping, and 3D NAND is still expected to ramp by mid-year. Also, Micron’s new collaboration with Seagate for enterprise serial attached SCSI (SAS) solid-state drives (SSDs) is encouraging, and the company’s revised pricing agreement with Inotera should be accretive to EPS beginning in CY16.

Started a new position on this pullback. A global leader in memory. Not to mention they are currently in the Apple Ipad/Iphone and hopefully in the iWatch as well.

High returns on investment capital, and high FCF yield. Strong growth projections. Book value continues to grow. Looks like a quality company selling at a very attractive price.

Micron has restructures around its new purchase, there are fewer players in the market, and a new kind of memory, 3D memory is coming out. this memory is faster and uses less energy. and not just a bit faster but several times faster. it will first be used in buffers. Micron is also moving into the SSD market. given its a manufacturer of memory it has an advantage in this area.

The construction of Samsung's chip factory should not disrupt the present shortage on DRAM. MU will profit from this shortage nicely.

While some have been tepid on this stock, there may be a lot of room to run. Some may argue that a pc refresh will fuel Micron's earnings and growth. This is partly true, but Micron will not be so tied to pcs in the future as the diversity of hardware will require memory solutions. Yes, there are and have been incredible memory advancements as of late, DDR4 being something of a game changer. This change will require the purchase the new memory to work with Intel's new 2011 socket. On the flip side, software companies like Oracle are designing products to work in-memory rather than in-storage. In-memory is faster at querying information than in-storage and only second to on-chip cache...this approach will change the idea of more traditional memory/storage ratios in favor of memory over storage. All-in-all, the long-term dynamics appear favorable.

This stock is going to bounce off of its 200 day moving average (where it is now) and move higher. This may be one of the cheapest, most undervalued stocks on Wall Street.

Demand for Micron's DRAM products is slightly higher than Supply. Expect current ESP to exceed avg estimate. Micron drive to higher value space vs commodity is long term plus. Customers agreeing to Longer term contracts to sensor supply in tight mkt.
