I work in the technology industry (A VERY big company) and see that the direction is in the area of "SaaS" or "Software as a Service". Netsuite seems to be well positioned to take advantage of this. Hear me loud and clear... This is NOT a fad. This is the FUTURE... In 10 years, ALL software will be sold as a service. It's up to the larger companies like Google, Microsoft, Netsuite, etc to pave the road to this market. I can almost guarantee you that this will be a 10 bagger or more. It's just a matter of how fast it will happen.

Why is SaaS so popular? IT is expensive. Customers hate installing products, security patching, rolling over hardware leases, etc. They want to outsource all of this stuff to India or put things in the "cloud" (see "Cloud Computing" in wikipiedia).

Also from a persoanl consumer perspective, think about how much you hate having to upgrade office every 2 years, or maybe saving money by skipping a version here or there, etc. Think about how difficult it is for a company like Microsoft to keep dreaming up of new features that will entice you to spend your money to purchase the next version... What if you just paid $50 for the rest of your life and got all of the upgrades, security patches, new features, alerts, etc behind the scenes and never had to worry about it? That's what SaaS is...

It's the future. I just don't know how long it will take for Netsuite to be a 10-bagger, but it will happen. Personal computers will get dumber and online applications will get smarter. It's the web people. Embrace it...
