NBR cycles with the oil industry based on drilling demand - with the demand up and prices rising this is a good pick. for value investors this stock is currently undervalued by about 10 - 15%, good pick for the mid term time fra me.

The pool of Nat Gas opportunities is getting crowded, seems like many of the high level people also like their pay packages to be rich. They're on the way to earn $2 this year while paying down debts with strong cash flows. A double from here when the news clears and valuation expands. I'm watching board news and ready to buy.

Growing demand for energy is a solid trend. Don't believe that "going green" actually saves any energy. Having a carbon tax won't prevent global warming. It's just BS. Growing demand for energy is not BS. Know the difference and profit from it.

The recent payout of the CEO's exit (although he is retaining his position on the board) is more than the company's profit for the last FY. Details of the settlement are not public, so we don't know if it is over one year or 20, but still represents a chunk of change. The stock has been under-performing the DOW for a long time - although for those who bottom fished, there were rewards when the stock went from 0.50 to 35.00. Stock performance has been flat however over the last 5 years, fluctuating around 18, which is about half of what it was in the early part of the decade. No dividend payout - sorry, it will remain flat over the next few years.

This is not like a good neighbor, it is a good nabor. Tech will rise first and have the longest ride. As the age factor sets into this industry and replacements and storage becomes an issue again... well it is always good to know who your nabor really is.
