Movie advertising is still an up and coming "booming" market. Out of home advertising is becoming more and more of an option for traditional companies, and will only continue to grow.

Look at all of their debt. The proceeds from their IPO were paid to the "founders." The company is left with massive debt and no equity. This spells trouble.

NCMI is also is on a declining business, as companies are going to cut very easily on advertising costs when results are on jeopardy. Additonally, in some fields digital adverstising is much more focused and has better results, so it will take a bigger piece of the cake (specially against advertising at cinemas).

I think that this kind of business can survive, but will be severely hit on profits for several quarters to go.

Consumer faces more difficulty, advertisers are getting less and less bang for their buck. People don’t have as much room in the budget for frivolous discretionary items, and advertisers know this. So, while no smart company is going to stop advertising altogether, the pace of ad buying is going to back off.
