Should improve over time as the market slowly kicks back in.
Recs
Large Company stocks grow on average 10.7% each year, small company stocks grow on average 12.5% each year. Unless something awful happens and completely destroys our economy, the Nasdaq is going up.

Was overweight at $40 and now it is a good price to buy some stocks. With the positives in the Real Estate market toward the second quarter, this stock will be looking to push forward.

I think it will be much sooner and the price could be much more, because it doesn't matter what will happen with acquiring LSE in a short term, NASDAQ is well positioned to make major acquisition in Asia or India and Russia and then return to Europe holding LSE shares.

Once the uncertainty around the London Stock Exchange merger/takeover/whatever resolves one way or the other, we have a monster competitor to NYSE-EuroNext. If they can't consumate the LSE deal, I expect them to look to Asia, probably the Osaka exchange.

Qtrly Earnings Growth (yoy): 1108.60%
2 yr basing pattern (see weekly chart for more information!)
Daily chart pulled back to the upsloping 50 day m.a. with a couple of candlestick "wicks" down thru it - thus rejecting the notion of further declines.
The 200 day m.a. seems to be starting an uptrend (the makings of an upslope).

NDAQ: NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. has acquired a few exchanges and integrated many new companies into its trading platform. It’s growing ridiculously fast and is priced like it’s never going to see the sun. Long term, I see trading in the marketplace ceasing to exist and it becoming mostly electronic and at the same time trading costs coming down. Right now, this is a great play.
Recs
Second larfest market that is trading a discount to its peers for no good reason.

The Nasdaq is undervalued. This should have excellent returns over the next 5-10 years.

ndaq satisfies its customers with a market place in which to efficiently invest their money from a selection of over 35,000 companies. The population of the world continues to grow and many of these people will become investors and will migrate to use the services of ndaq. I look for steady growth to cause the comapny shares to reach $75 by 2011.

They probably have the best chance to thrive in the industry. With the infrastructure in place to handle more trades than they can possibly get in the next few years, their incremental cost per trade is literally zero. That allows aggressive pricing, and with foreign governments putting rules in place that require trades go to the lowest cost exchange, NDAQ has the best opportunity to grow. Also, they are not vulnerable to increases or decreases in value of stocks, but instead they make their money based on how many trades occur. Whether it's people dumping shares in the downcylce, or buying them in the turnaround, volume is likely to stay stable or increase. NDAQ should grow.
Recs
NDAQ is down from its highs near 50 bucks a share. The market has made several moves to ensure it profits from the ever expanding global market place. Increasing volume and volatilty all add up to a strong business model in both up and down markets.
Recs
If they can land the LSE they can beat the NYX at its own global game..and with China dropping barriers for finance companies - look for an Asia expansion for exchanges in 07.
