One of many excellent oil and gas service companies out there. I like this one because the risk is lower with a great balance sheet. S&P has had it as a strong buy for almost a year and keeps pushing the target price up. If you can live with 30+% return for the next few years with limited risk, this is a good stock.

Noble Corp has been one of the best performing energy stocks in the last few years, with a P/E ratio a good amount below the industry average. It has a well defined trend line straight through ~30% a year, and still growing. With oil prices rising I can only imagine their revenues will grow. When is anyone going to stop driving?

Noble Corp's name has become a fixture in the oil and gas industry and the current trend in demand for fossil fuels has and will continue to fatten their stocks. Maintaining the outperformance of the S&P will be no problem for years to come. Service demands are at an all-time high and will only get higher as new deposits are exploited in the rockies and in the sands of Canada. The only damper to an exponential growth would be the short supply of experienced personnel to populate the ranks.

Nobel is one of the leaders in off shore drilling, There saftey messures are unsurpassed. And even with the hit in louisiana 2 years back, they still managed to keep there rigs drilling, and churning. Great company.

Offshore driller that is cheaper than the rest for no apparent reason. Sector looks good, prospects look good, should see a nice upswing until the sector turns.

As the demand for oil increases, deep water drilling becomes increasingly important. Noble will be able to take advantage of this trend because of their expertise in deep water drilling.

A company that has gained steadily for the past few years...up until the beginning of this year. It dropped suddenly, and has since reached an agreement to sell off it's North Sea platform drilling sector, as well as posted record earnings per share. Once the sale is complete, I expect the price to go up again.

Oil drillers are still incredibly cheap, and as the price of oil increases (or plateaus) and oil becomes harder and harder to find, drillers will profit immensely as companies and nations scramble to extract more oil. The best three plays in this sector are NE, ESV, and RIG.
