"New Energy Technologies, Inc., through its subsidiaries, engages in the identification, acquisition, development, and commercialization of alternative energy technologies. It focuses on the development of MotionPower, a technology for capturing the kinetic energy of moving vehicles in order to use this captured energy to generate electricity;"
Not the worst idea I've ever heard. But it is still an alternative energy company and therefore worthless.

This stock has the potential to put the business & homeowner in the driver seat to produce electricity.

"Technology incubator?" These chicks won't hatch. It's amazing how such companies can still be valued at 100M+.
Everydayinvestor has a great right up, thanks!

their is one word to describe this despicable company: false

even if the solar glass nanoparticles do not work as planned, the resulting technology in related products will be outstanding,

Sorry, we're still trying to incubate profits. Check back in a month and see if we're still here (and if so, if we have anything).

The Company doesn't develop products or have any other real means of making money. Instead, it lets others do the work and then buy the idea from them. Any idea worth anything is going to be exploited by the developer, not sold to some incubating company. This company will just end up with the left-overs, which will eventually end up on the clearance rack at the nearest "As seen on tv" store. Ride this one the whole way into bankruptcy.

I'm with the Fools on this one

A poor company that publicly admitted they are going nowhere. The stock was overvalued, and crashed accordingly, and is still worth too much. Get rid of it while you can.

Why has this stock been going up?

Another pump and dump stock. CEO has many failures behind him.

Nice idea, no money to back it up.

These guys "incubate" technology for "eventual commercialization". If you build a mousetrap, they will come (and get whacked). A company with no products; real novel I must admit.

First, the technology looks like total BS to the degree of being laughable. And second, why is a firm which claims to be little more than an R&D outfit planning to increase its research spending? Since research is all they do, they should already be putting all their available resources into, you know... researching stuff.
But even if it's all legit and the technology is viable, what kind of liability issues are we getting into? What does power-generating glass do when you bump, break, shatter, touch, or get an electronic device near it? If a product ever managed to come to market (none will) they still wouldn't last a year without being litigated to death. Not that any builder would ever buy or use the product since that would also make them liable for any of its shortcomings.
With all that said, we have to go back to my usual rule of thumb: Never trust a company that uses stock images on its web site. All those scientists, test tubes, and etc. are off a stock image CD from Getty or Corel. I would expect them to use pictures of their actual researchers doing research if they had any.
