NGD's recent Blackwater Prelim engineering report shows 580k ounces of gold in first 5 years at a cost of less than $500 an ounce. $1100 an ounce margin on 580k ounces and more gold is being found. That's $638M if gold is $1700 an ounce. What happens if gold hits $2k due to money printing by practically every central bank in the world? New Aston quickly entered production in August of 201 and is contributing to earnings. With Blackwater and the other mines, 1.3M ounces of production in the next 4 years. Based on these estimates, the company is worth a lot more than it's current market value.

The real move in the gold shares will probably happen in the first week of Oct. 2011, after the Sept. FOMC and COMEX related gold selling by the central banks ends. KWN reports strong Asian buying of gold below $1800, which suggests that a strong floor is now in place for gold's move higher next month. The HUI now appears to be moving higher, while gold and silver remain in their trading range. Good buy in points have already occurred in the last two weeks and will likely reappear next week.
