Well, by now we all know that global warming is a reality. The main topic of the last two G20 summits has been tackling this problem. The resolution most countries have reached is that alternative fuel is the way to go. With a booming market now is the time to invest in all sorts of new energy.

Aluminum, Oil & Gas, Wind Power, Energy trading, this company is very diversified into most of my favorite sectors. Near 52 week low, high scores at around this price on the Scorecard. Over 99% of All-Star members have marked this to outperform. Norway tends to have a very good natural resource management policy. Well managed company at bargain basement pricing.

Norsk Hydro sold its oil and gas operations, the company now recycles aluminum and manufactures aluminum products, including automotive and transport, building systems, casthouse products, extruded products, rolled products, and wire rod.. Norsk Hydro also operates 17 hydroelectric plants. According to the company website they are the third-largest integrated aluminum supplier in the world. Norsk Hydro also invests in alternative energy companies.

This is my iffiest pick. It's an international company that's got a good base in oil and gas, but is actively looking to the future. I really like that. If only that graph looked better...

We need good sources of energy. Any form of developing energy uses is a good choice for me. Wind and hydrogen are the wave of the future. I think this stock is a good pick.

Let's face it...energy is scarce and we have reached or passed the point of "Peak Oil." Norsk is in prime position to benefit for dwindling supplies of energy resources. It not only has business in oil and gas, but also in hydropower and wind power.
