Has a 2% dividend, a PEG below 1, over $700,000 indirect non-open market insider transactions since the beginning of March and a 0.225 debt to equity ratio. Outperform.

Its northrup/Grumman for crying out loud, and we are involved in skirmishes throughout the world where our military needs the best cutting edge techno toys money can buy. These are the guys who build it. They have recently been granted numerous contracts for civilian and military work worth hundreds of millions, and personally i dont think that will change anytime soon, regardless who holds the house or senate. Consistent earnings increases, strong balance sheets, good return on investment, and they are more diversified than most people think, so its almost recession proof here.

Defense spending will continue to be strong and NOC is among the best. Will pop if it wins the KC-30 contract and may take a short term hit if it doesn't. Buy the significant dips.

In rough seas you can depend on the Industrial Military Complex to make money.  A slow economy has never slowed down the spending of big government.

US Air Force Tanker contract is relatively huge even for the defense industry. Look for Northrop Grumman Stock prices above $100 per share by late Summer 08.

NG is everywhere. It has diversified itself like a fine portfolio though heavy in the Military/combat sector. However, it technology R&D will keep industry involved in what they are up to. Everyone else will be looking over their shoulder to see what is new for the Smart Soldier and the Smart Commander well into the 21st century and beyond. Good investment even if the White House changes hands.

This is a solid company in the aerospace and defense industry. I predict with the increase of oil and fuel that the nuclear program for naval vessels will increase dramatically over the next ten years. Considering this company is only one of two companies capable of this I expect very large jumps. Also it is among the top three in defense contracts as a multi billion dollar company. This is a solid pick. I also feel that as they make more and more cuts in their over head budget that this will also increase the cut to the stock holder therefore making this a valuable stock to have in your portfolio.

When traders realize that the president is not going to curtail defense pending, NOC will come back. Defense in general will not be hit as hard by the downturn.

Because of the joint contract awarded to them, which originally was suppose to be a Lockheed contract. I think that the appeals will go unheard and they will keep the contract.
