This energy generation company is consistently profitable and seems to be well managed. Selling for less than book value and about 5 times earnings. Although this company has significant debt, the debt load is sustainable. Patient investors will be rewarded.

The Exelon merger is creating consternation at NRG, but even the swap price that Exelon is offering is more than 30% increase from today's price for this rock-solid balance sheet and smart management. Buffett bought in at $48/ share. At current price, this stock is a bargain.
