Strong bullish trend with a nice pullback making a great entry point. Solid company in a great sector. Look for a nice gain here.

With rising power prices and the nation's mission to wean itself off of Middle East oil, NRG is a perfect position to capitalize. It has a very large, diverse portfolio of power plants and is looking to be leader in the development of clean coal technology, new nuclear plants, and possibly even some renewables.

Here's a pick to support what I consider good technology. NRG applied for the first permit to build a nuclear plant in 31 years...hopefully in a few years they will be approved!

Company has a FCF yield in the teens. Hedged input costs and a "dirty hedge" on Marginal revenues (R=P*Q, they hedged P). Over 50% of capacity is in the ERCOT region which has fantastic pricing metrics for its baseload plants.

An old warhorse that is expanding into a new market. Insider buying tells you the management believe in the company.
