NRIM is a well managed bank. Its cost of funds has dropped and the housing correction is about a year away. NRIM is a strong buy at this price.

I audit banks for a living. Community banks that is. I'm on the other side of the country (northeast), but I know a strong bank when I see one. Slow and steady wins the race my friends... and just remember that it's the Banks who ALWAYS hold the money.

What a great value play in a Safe Micro-cap Stock. I see this steadily beating the S&P over the next 3 years - Plus it sports a small dividend.

They're a mid-size community bank, still operated by one of the founders. Their executive offices are on the second floor of their five-story headquarters, right down the hall from the common rabble in Accounting and HR. To me, that shows an interest in being in touch with the business, rather than being removed from it all and hoarding the best offices for themselves.
