Company seems very undervalued right now. They are trading at a low PE for the amount of R&D and future earnings projected. Lack of clarity on the company in the US also drives artificially low demand for the stock

Nissan's new $2B Mexico plant has it primed to produce 1 million cars in Mexico by 2016. With a 17% increase in Sentra sales over the past year, and 175K Sentras set to roll out of Mexico by next March, Nissan looks like a winner.

Toyota, up until recently has been the number one selling auto brand in the U.S. Now they have quality problems across the board, including problems in their Lexus division. Nissan does not have these quality issues and is poised to fill the void Toyota is creating for itself. I currently own a 2001 Infinity I30 (Nissan's luxury brand for the uninitiated) that is still running smoothly with over 255,000 miles on it (with the ORIGINAL powertrain) and before that I sold a 1996 Infinity I30 at 200,000 miles that is still running in 2010 and on its 4th owner with over 300,000 miles on it and before that, sold a1989 Nissan Maxima at 189,000 miles (was still running at the time). Of course my wife has a 2001 Maxima with 135,000 miles on it and it still starts right up every time....how many more tesitmonials to quality of a companies product's can one man give for large purchases...SERIOUSLY??? Nissan/Infiniti just WINS...GAME,SET MATCH!!

Really like this company. They make great cars and I believe with Toyotas recent decline they can take advantage of that market. They produce affordable, fuel-efficient cars and also the luxury Infinity's to rival lexus. I likey

350z, 370z, GT-R and the first 100% all electric car availible to buy the leaf nissan clearly picked up where toyota left off with the supra and prius no 2011 supra? no 2011 100% electric prius? come on toyota you can do better then that nissans also a tech leader just look at its GT-R specs despite being fast its the first car ever to use such an advanced awd independent suspension electronic differential drive system I could hardly beleive my eyes when I saw the big GT-R that looks heavy go into a corner at the same speed as a 911 turbo and accelerate out of the turn with no slippage faster then a 911 turbo the 911 was fighting to be as fast but simply lost traction and when regained the GT-R was gone nissan if you can make a huge tank called the GTR out corner and accelerate a light nimble 911 then god only knows what you can do with 100% electric vehicles over the next 2 years also i support you for not selling out to big oil like gm did with the ev1 in the 90s I will buy a leaf just to protest big oil and end the oil dynastys one world order plans and population control agendas

Style sells cars, and Nissan is currently producing the best looking cars. Currently undervalued, low debt, profitability. Local dealer sales are strong and prices are holding.
