Small regional telco will face little to no wireless or cable competition in a fairly stable area. Can continue to grow market presence while its larger competitors are trying to shore up their prime markets.

Ntelos, a cell phone and ISP company, is flying under a lot of radars in the telecom sector. The company sells service in Virginia and West Virginia, and I can tell you that this area is booming and will continue to do so for the next several years. UBS initiated coverage in October, and slapped a big BUY recommendation on it. Raymond James & Assoc. is also a big fan. At $17.82 it's a good buy, and if it can manage 07 EPS of $.80 or better, it's going to be a $20+ stock in no time.

I am proud of this, my first CAPS pick. It has made me over 40% and gives me the distinction of score leader. I just don't know why more people don't call this stock. It has gained a steady 40% in under 3 months. Hop on before it plateaus to much.

Long term contracts mean ongoing profits in small-towns where competition for telecom business is scarce!
