Its all about the brand. Nvidia has consistently made the best graphics cards on the market for over a decade now.

Portable HD processing technology will allow individuals to plug a NVIDIA chipped media device into their flatscreen to watch media in HD displacing bluray with younger buyers, just as home phones are displaced by cell-phones among young buyers.

Another stock that was beaten down too bad

Nvidia is close to my heart as someone who enjoys video games and especially the cinematics. But its not just gamers that should love Nvidia younger children drawn to Pixar and DreamWorks movies also should like Nvidia. Bottom line when (if) we come out of this rescission Nvidia will have nothing but green numbers to show its investors that stayed with and bought Nvidia this year(2009).

Other than AMD/ATI, there's no other real competition for video cards; these two companies will be at each others throats for the foreseeable future.

This company has suffered severe lawsuits and may not recover soon. Be careful if you are planning to invest short term with this stock because it may continue to go down.

NVIDIA has long been a leader in what they do. Although companies like Intel and AMD are now much more capable of producing products that compete with NVIDIA. I still like the name recognition of NVIDIA, it is associated with better graphics and better performance. That recognition isn't going away anytime soon even if other companies can make similar products. I also am looking for NVIDIA to really break out into new markets, myabe something more mobile such as smart phones, or portable gaming devices. If that happens this stock will soar

Great chip company whose chips are use in everything from video game consoles to graphics programs.

Superior product!

Nvidia is very cyclical. Over the next 10 years, I expect business performance to be volatile at times. However, the earnings trend line will be up. I don't know what year to year earnings will look like, though. To time the industry peaks and troughs is a pursuit of the wind. Therefore, I believe it is best to wait for cyclical troughs to pick stocks such as Nvidia to outperform. Cyclical troughs provide the CAPS player (or investor) opportunities to maximize score points and increase the odds of being accurate.

Nvidia is the industry leader in gaming graphics cards. Gaming is in a strong upward trend that will not slow until sometime after the video game industry has overtaken other forms of entertainment. I am very bullish on just about anything related to video games. I do think Nvidia is a risky investment proposition, but based on my starting price, I believe this call should yield a healthy amount of score points in the future.

Strong products, great management in a cyclical recovery.

Competence - the team remains strong and innovative, and has been delivering consistently on this projects.

- The only "graphic cards" centric company is now trying to capture the "netbook" market with it's ION platform.
- CPU processing power is becoming more and more negligible, however graphic card processing power has still a lot more room to grow and NVDA is one of the leaders in this field.
- CEO is committed and focused on its company's strategy, despite its recent effort with ION it's still is a graphic card company.
