This company is different from other homebuilders that are involved in land development. NVR only pays a small amount of deposit and can cancel the purchase of lots at any time.

Good cash flow

Good PE

Good management.

NVR is definitely the company you want to own if you're going to attempt to ride out the homebuilding storm, but short-term (1 year or less) it looks like a technical and fundamental disaster. The company just slashed its 2008 estimates in half and is now trading at a very aggressive 21-22 times 200...More
