Well positioned to do very well once housing market recovers. Low cost producer already, profitable even during this economic climate. Very lean operation, excellent management.

The new CEO did a tremondous job with Schneider Electric. He has vision, buys profitable companies, and will do another tremendous job with Quanex. I am looking forward to good dividends and an increase in the stock price.

I'm forcasting the numbers regarding America's financial situation to be terrible in the summer. Therefore, I see investors itching to short all sectors duing business in the U.S. domestic market, including Quanex. Quanex, along with most other heavily domestic dependent stocks will ride the Dow down into the 11,000's this summer. Time to jump on the bandwagon folks!

The earnings history for this company surely deserves some respect. The long climb to the midfifties made a lot of money for for those who went for a good portion of that ride. The correction was due, and it wasn't all that severe. I think we're looking for a climb to the low 70's this time.
