NYSE. When markets go bad, the market still makes a fee. There has been a dearth of IPOs in the past few years and when the current recession ends, both NYX and NASDAQ will explode with revenue. In the meantime, NYX has the volume to support revenues… More

NYX has an illiquid balance sheet and a too high valuation compared to its sales potential. Its profitability is decreasing. It also distributes an unsustainable dividend.

I give this less than a year for a bounce back toward its 52-week high. there is good leadership at the new york stock exchange, all you need to do is wait for some IPO's to happen and then we shall see. I am hoping that right around the time that zipcar goes IPO next year we will see this stock soaring again. Real Money on this one.

Healthy balance sheet and increasing sales and profit (not counting 2008). Attractive.
