Oil will be the driving force for a long time; stories about alternate fuels are far into the investment future. (Plus, plastics are made from oil.) For U.S. consumers, new oil field will have to come from harsh environments... and under sea exploration.

It seems some have determined this to be an OIL stock, but it is an underwater and harsh environment engineering and tech services company. It sounds very interesting, like a rule breaker.

I will always like this stock. It doesn't matter if there isn't bad weather (see this yr's numbers), if oil is over $35/barrell, this company will rake it in. They're in a niche market.

Oceaneering divers are working non-stop in the Gulf, with no end in sight. Good weather this year means work gets done. Bad weather means more damage, thus more work down the road.
