+ Watch ONVO
on My Watchlist
This is one anyone willing to speculate with ability to handle the risk should probably jump on.
Speculative at best but if this bio-technology pans out the roof is not high enough. Will be fun to watch if not for the tech. Advancement.
At any price above $0.50, the valuation is ridiculous: $23k in revenue and $10 mil in expense?. There is absolutely no assurance the technology will pan out or that someone won't beat them to market, which is at least a year away as I write this. Everything screams RUN!And yet, I'm thumbs-up in CAPS and IN for real money. Truly disruptive and generation-leaping technology always looks implausible. ONVO may not be the one to commercialize tissue testing successfully but they are currently leading the way and writing the roadmap for how to do it. I'm going with the lead horse in this race.
following fool recommend
3D bioprinter; looking very long term for this company, as reasonable expectations are that the first real signs of success won't come before the end of 2014. It's what could come after 2014 that has piqued my interest.
ONVO is a premier company in a make it or break it field, they will either be the next Microsoft style company or fall by the wayside. They have the right field and a good head start now lets see if they take full advantage of it!
3D printing of tissue. Used in pharmaceutical testing now some day tissue patches, then hopefully heart valves and other human replacement parts.I took some profits in CAPS because of wild swings on buyout rumors.
Doesn't even have 1% revenue of their market cap and yet its more valued than XONE even?what a joke
Got it at 5.59 x 1000 shares
This stock will outperform because it is disruptive technology. The CEO has recently said they are on track for their first liver assay product, and if that technology can have as much impact on pre-clinical trial drug evaluation, this company has a lot to gain. So, once the liver assay goes commercial, plus their partnerships get extended or bear fruit, the sky is the limit. Plus, this will beat the S&P 500 well into the future as the technology gains ground in the next 5+ years, as they are poised to disrupt biotech in various ways (other assays, fully functional organs, etc).
Sure looks like a winner!
Bought this stock 6 months ago after after seeing a profile on a morning news show. The concept makes a lot of sense to me and is in line with the customized treatment vision of medicine which has been emerging...especially in the area of cancer treatments. What better way to determine the best course of treatment when it is clear that not all individuals and not all diseases respond in the same the way to a particular treatment.
Got burned selling out of DDD, won't happen this time. This company has so much potential, and still getting in early
With P/E of negative infinity, this stock should be highly volatile until they have a real product to sell. I hope they are a 10 bagger someday, but that's way down the road.
Concept of growing tissues for not only body parts, but also food (meat) and leather if it can be done economically is worth investing in.
This is a leader of a biotech company that is working on 3D printing of human tissue. Cutting edge.
I think it is in a leading technology which has the potential for a significant break through.
techonologicly way ahead of the game, the potential is unlimited.
