Most of ORI's business is in general insurance, but the stock was beaten down on account of their small business in mortgage insurance. Their market cap is only 60% of their net tangible assets, and their tangible assets are UNDERSTATED due to a write-off for OTTI of certain long-term investments that were purchased below book. Look for this stock to return to its pre-subprime crisis valuation of ~$20 by 2010.

Conservative well run specialty insurance company suffering from the down housing market. 27 years of increasing dividends. Could double in 5 years if history is any guide.

Worth about double what it's priced at, due to mortgage meltdown that doesn't much affect it. Recently used free cash to make big investments in other incredibly cheap stocks in its own industry, which should compound already strong profits.
