In the market of excessive inventory, Overstock is the king. I think the naked shorting PR problem that the company faces will fade over time allowing executives to focus on the business and generate shareholder value. This is a risky proposition but one I am willing to take given that OSTK really does not have credible competition in the area of excess inventory.

overstock has stumbled, no doubt. damn, i think they tripped actually, but i have confidence that patrick byrne will pick them back up. i am reassured now that he has abandoned his crusade against short sellers and is focusing on the business again.

severely underpriced. Based on $900 MM revenue, if they obtain 4% net margin ( not unlikely) they should have a PE of close to 10.
Lot of improvements to the website, and market hates PB.

Too much pessimism baked in to the price. Byrne isn't going to let this ship go down. Expenses should decrease, and sales ramp up again by year end.

P/S is at .50, Large insider holding, auctions seems to have picked up. Great website. Bound to be profitable very soon, and will trade at a much greater multiple.
