Premium name with strong brand power - trading at a discount to intrinsic value.
Nothing flashy but the dividend is strong and management is above average.
Global domination is still underway for the Pepsi - Coke - Dr. Pepper companies and PBG will be a solid portfolio holding (but not a large position)

The next generation are starting to graduate High School and starting College and can afford to buy their own soda...I know my kids drink only pepsi products. I only drank DP because that is what I was raised on never liked Coke products...Not until I had my first Pepsi this year did I drop DP for Pepsi..

Shares are worth 7 billion and PepsiCo is worth 100 billion. PBG accounts for 40% of PEPs soda manufacturing. I don't know the breakdown of just soda for Pepsi's overall business but that alone sounds like a great margin of safety.
Fundamentals are there, income growth has been slow and steady but the valuations are low and leads me to believe this is a good price to buy PBG.
