**

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

PBY saw gains in profits, but because it missed same store sales $500 million instead of $513 mil. its shares took a big hit. Having said that, this company is successfully going through a turn around in which they are focusing not only on sales, but on the service part of business. Services are pure profit for this company because if they service your car, you're also paying for the parts needed. Tax breaks plus incentives from states such as Florida because of the damage from hurricanes add more business to PBY. Needless to say, it is a great time to get in it.

This company has been around a log time and has seen many ups and downs. They have made some positive changes lately and are starting to show some results. This is a poor mans' buy which is why I think a lot of people are going to load up on buying it over the next 3-4 years. I will go out on a limb and say it will be $25 in that time frame.

Pep boys is a bit of an icon in the auto parts world. The general market is suffering, the auto industry is suffering, Pep boys has suffered, but are looking to turn the corner. Will they? Last quarter they were profitable and they've maintained a positive owner earnings. Furthermore, they are trading at bargain prices when comparing market caps to # of stores, revenue, and longer term owner earnings. The potential of unlocked couped up assets, operational improvements, and buy out speculation is enough to give Manny, Moe, and Jack the green thumb.

If people are poorer now than they were , and I think that's the case, then they more likely invest into car maintence than into new cars.
