This stock will under peform due to the government losing focus on some of its goals from being in heated close quarter battles such as budget and health care. Education and jobs are next on the list with gay rights pulling up the rear. If Republicans are lucky enough to get a Presidential seat in the next election this will further weaken this stock. If they do not then they will continue to pick meaningless fights on all the subjects above so environmental issues will take the back seat with not a lot of pressure to be resposible. Like a lot of DC topics, this only get short term focus due to catostrophic events.

I'm going to play a speculative buy in for the very long term of about a hundred bucks, because I suspect this is going to be an excellent long-term play.

There is an ever growing need for their service. They are streamlining the company but at the same time developing a new marketable product. Stable management with good debt ratio.

Waste management fits in nicely with the focus of the current administration on alternative energy and green policy. The industry has been hit hard by the recession. Ironically, PESI is such a small company that it's balance sheet has not suffered from the slowdown as much as some of its larger peers. Admittedly there are some concerns as popular sentiment about the rate of growth during this slowdown is relatively negative, but as industrial and commodity indicators continue the gradual improvement of the past year, I expect PESI to see further demand by the end of the 3rd quarter.

I believe this company will take off, it may take some time, but definately has room to grow. I did pretty well trading this stock last year. Still relatively undiscovered.

May (MAY!) benefit off of ES's recent executive exodus, and the up-and-coming nuke sector. That said, I don't see it as a long-term play, only an intermediate trade. Fundys=No debt, topline increased 60% or so 3Q over previous 3Q, projections going forward are attractive enough.

Waste Management will always be in demand because there will always be waste. All this company needs to do is put itself in a position to receive some of the demand

The tremendous growth thus seen in the waste management sector is going nowhere even in the face of a recession this summer. Bill Gates sure called this sector a few years ago when he invested gobs of money into it becuase he saw an oppertunity. Well, folks that oppertunity is still there, and I see this entire sector continuing up. The laughable P/E of all of these companies will soon disappear. Time to jump on board if you haven't already.

The legacy problems of nuclear and hazardous waste is real and EXPENSIVE. This group and this stock can reap the rewards. Probably will be bought in the next year.
