INDEPENDENT OIL AND GAS COMPANY OUT OF WEST VIRGINIA, ALSO DOES NATURAL GAS
Recs
decent financial. momentum building

it's only a game

Natural gas it down, but if it goes up this will go up. PETD is relatively cheap but was cheaper a week ago when they announced larger reserves. Long term (within three years) I think there is at least a 50% or greater chance this company will be taken over by someone, possibly Atlas. I bought today at $48.70. I'll probably take a quick profit but that's because of personal situation, not my analysis of the stock.
I like the insider buying although its modest in dollars. I didn't like seeing one officer dump 100,000 shares but that was a year ago.
Recs
Great earnings yield. Growth numbers look good. Stock appreciates despite weak management.
Recs
Natural resources are becoming scarcer by the year, which will make this company's long-term sales in greater demand.
Unsure of management's effectiveness, so that is an unknown, however I believe that during times of frugality, the rough spots involved with a business can be glossed over.
Very strong technicals, P/S of 1.73, coupled with a P/E of 2.5.

A growth proposition
Recs
In general, Natural Gas demand is growing for electrical generation and home heating, not to mention oil sands, ethanol production, and other uses (fertilizer, refining, etc). Domestic supply has increased, but will not keep pace. Price will go up. Energy will outperform.
Specifically, good P/E, buying on the dip. Accounting problems are a concern, but don't seem to affect the actual company value, or so I think, but I don't always do good DD for CAPS.

Tremedous growth. short term issues, long term success....this company should be trading in the $60's
Recs
ranked number#1 on my stock screener...has some short term issues but numbers look promising...CAP IT!
Recs
This has been a disappointment. Very poorly managed and cannot make a decent profit even with the upside potential in these energy deficient temes.

In the next few years is there any place for oil stocks to go but up?
