Having used Phase Forward's products and compared them to some of the offerings from their competition, they make a great product.

The Pharma industry could be shifting a little but I think it could help PFWD. Regulatory agencies are requiring more data before approving new treatments and PFWD is positioned well to help Pharma companies collect and analyze these large amounts of data.

Phase Forward is a company funded by a doctor who saw firsthand the need for a paperless data collection and management system for use in clinical drug trials. In 1997, Phase Forward spearheaded the development of Electronic Data Capture, years before the idea of "paperless" became popular.

Already used by companies such as AstraZenica, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and many others, Phase Forward has a dominant market position with their full line of innovative niche products and support. Unlike other major technology companies, Phase Forward has a modest amount of employees, led by trustworthy executive who are kept honest by a small independent board governed by a strict ethics code.

With Biotechnology being the next big industry, Phase Forward will undoubtedly become a favorite company among researchers, manufactures and pharmaceuticals.

With a small amount of debt, and solid plans to reduce this debt, and a diverse armada of partnerships and contracts, and without competition, Phase Forward is not a risky investment at all.
