Many of the players in this ETF have been held down by the construction downturn during recession, etc and yet has stayed close to the SP500 broadly. Water and Water infrastructure is increasingly important locally and globally. 2025 we may be important more water than oil from Canada and these companies are the ones that are going to do it. Patient investing for this one, no short term money deployed.

I own shares in this ETF because I'm convinced that the world's shortage of safe drinking water will be addressed in the coming decades by companies in this ETF. Water infrastructure and water treatment technologies are in demand everywhere, but will be particularly important in developing nations.

Global water scarcity. This may be a but a cloud on the horizon at this time, but it will come to the forefront sooner or later.

Potable water is becoming more and more scarce, based on trend anecdotes, and the demand will rise as the global population rises and as globalization expands and increases standards of living as well as the need for potable water resources infrastructure.

Water is a static resource - population continues to grow. Supply remains constant while demand increases which will cause prices to increase. Increased price and demand will drive up demand for efficiency and all the related products and services that come with it.

Water. Actually, it is the most valuable resource, isn't it? As more countries become industrialized and as the world population level increases, we (as a planet) can only need more and more of this life giving staple. Desalinization is only a part of PHO, but eventually this fund will have to go up!
