Foreign exposure is a good thing, but choosing good companies can be hard without traveling to find them. I expect that foreign companies paying dividends are established and profitable.

Looking for a short term rally

This seems like the best way to get exposure to international stocks at the moment. The companies are all quality (for the most part), and exposure seems diversified across nations and currencies. Good reward potential, and the 5% dividend yield gives it an acceptable margin of safety.

A great way to diversify globally, hedge the dollar and take advatage of the increasing importance of foreign markets. This ETF invests in ADR's and non-US stocks that have increased their anual dividends for the last five years. A little heavy on the financials, but now's a good time to take advantage of crazy Mr. Market.
