I don't imagine people will stop needing water any time soon, and this ETF appears to be well-diversified.

Water is liquid diamonds? Take a look at the holdings and see for yourself. World clean water issues are a disaster, just about gone, this is a fantastic play. PIO also holds instruments in shipping canals ie: suez, etc. Individualize holdings for your own increased beta.

Clean water will be an increasingly scarce resource, which will drive this ETF.

If this damn thing ever gets to >0 I'm gonna end it. If you like water (who doesn't?) go with PHO.

Water, water everywhere and not a to drink. Infrastructure needs worldwide plus changing weather patterns plus population increases equal major problems that will have to be addressed and (hopefully) solved over the near and long term.

Like the holdings in this one such as Hyflux, a singapore based firm making massive inroads into China and VE, the french water giant also doing lots of business in China. Water truly will become "Blue Gold".

Limited supply and high demand make industries surrounding water—its supply, management, and exchange-traded funds—attractive opportunities. Water is the one commodity where demand is not subject to the pressures of macroeconomics. Demand for clean water supply and improved water infrastructure is growing around the globe—driven by a rising population, increased industrial demand, and the need to upgrade or replace the aging pipes carrying our water.
