I'm bullish on nuclear energy - especially in the longer term, given that chaos isn't exactly a rare occurrence in the Middle East - and planning to add this fund to my portfolio.

Nuclear is clearly the future until it gets replaced by more efficient "green" energies.

Solar, wind and such are not efficient enough yet to yield enough power for our need, unless we all decide to pitch in and save power.

Nuclear is the only way to mass produce energy without the massive release CO2 / green house gases.
Only downsides : people don't want them nearby, and waste treatment.

However, countries like France (80% nuclear) are very successful at it and provide their citizens with cheap clean electricity. Note that all powerplants in France are government controlled and explains the low cost of energy in that country.

gut feeling, i think nuclear will see an increase in usage when oil and gas make it appear cheap

Best play on uranium and nuclear power. A uranium shortage is brewing, but suppliers are difficult to invest in directly.

Nuclear is the only option for carbon-neutral baseload power in many locations.

If you believe in nuclear this is a far superior ETF than NLR. More exposer to uranium and power plant production. While natural gas might be the hot play on $200 dollar oil for the short-term the world is going to have to cycle back to nuclear power. It is just too efficient.

With oil prices sky rocketing, I think nuclear engery is going to have a comeback.
