Currently grabs only a tiny slice of the pie. BUT it has its foot in the business applications door. Star Analysts are positive about its chances. Earnings on the rise.

Thin is in, and will never really be out. EL displays like the ones mentioned above have a world of use and market ability. Think of this technology as the little brother of Sony's OLED displays.

I'm not sure how this lone product will effect Planar as a company, however this is the cutting edge technology and as far as I know there isn't any real competition.
