I think, after this bear market, people have come to realize that as long as the demand for natural resources continues to rise so will the price. By cutting out the middle man (your local grocery store) and growing your own produce garden you essentially save hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year. You need at least a supplement to your compost pile, so get yourself some fertilizer! Take those savings and invest them in the very same products you use everyday and watch your money grow, too!! 2 methods of saving for the price of 1. Can't beat that.

The AG bubble has largely burst but POT is putting up some solid numbers. Their profit isn't going to be near what they were pulling in back in 2008 but they're on track to significantly outperform their 2007 numbers when their stock was trading in the same range.

All the ag chemical companies have started to trend upward and have started to fire up plants that were idled by the cost of fuel. People have to eat and fertilizer is a major component of that.
