high short ratio and negative book value are not good stats. Coupled with debt that is twice it's market cap, and this is a scary stock in a scary industry.

Despite the fact that the world as a hold is moving away from print publications, I think the Primedia product will continue to serve it's intended customer base. I think the recent insider purchases show tremendous confidence in the performance of this company.

This company makes money providing bedding and blankets for the homeless and even manages to kick out over an 8% dividend yield while doing it. Only a fool would buck a tiger's odds and bet against such an inglorious company and product as this is. The fact that they found a way to make a dime off of those crappy free papers in the hideous stands that I have seen them in for years and never considered approaching let alone taking one is a sign of wizardry on the part of the powers that be behind this hobo's TP, pillow and blankets.
