Commercial real estate losses will increase through 2010 and Prudential has enough exposure for it to hurt. They are already not profitable. The stock price is up more than fundamentals justify. When the next stock market correction occurs in first half 2010, this stock will go down big time in comparison.

Financials have to recover some time. Might as well give this one a try.

Prudential is a strong financial company and has been for decades. The analysts constantly look for ways to negate what is good to manipulate the market, simply to get their story in, and their hit on PRU in the recent past was another example of the media in action. I highly recommend PRU.

This stock is down as is the rest of the financial markets. However I believe that it is slowly moving back up and will come back to it's former highs and profitability.

This things up 4x off the lows because everything is alright now that market rebounded on fluff? This stock, MET, and HIG are in deep dodo because they have to pay anuities out the nose and take losses when the market goes down. Market likely hasnt bottomed and 4x up in few months based on no positive numbers is not a good time to be thumbs upping this stock. If they keep running this thing up with negative earnings and short interest is reasonable I would considerate a good short condidate. Wheres the EPS?

Grab a piece of the rock...and tie it around your neck. Entered at $20...left at $32...watched it fall to almost $10.
MetLife and Prudential are in the THUNDERDOME...only one will leave alive. My money's on MetLife.
