Untoppable stock. Advice was to buy on pullback. The problem is ther has been no pullback. So just jumping on the train.

They have very ltitle control over their LTC losses as has been proven by their most recent earnings release. Buyer beware, additional reserves will be required in the coming quarters to shore up their business. I expect LTC losses to continue for a considerable amount of time. There is a reason PRU is getting out fo this business line.

I think, if it gets hit tomorrow, off of this J.P. Morgan disappointment, that may be an opportunity. But they don't have that yield protection. See, without that yield protection, I get very nervous. It's only at 2.8%. You need about 4% to be protected in this market with yield, and J.P. Morgan yield is 3.75%. That's not going to stop it either. So be very careful. Although I do like it, obviously, more than I did at $60.

Buy Prudential all you can. Fearful American cannot handle day-to-day fluctuation of stock markets. They need to feel 'save' by asking Prudential to babysit their money. Prudential has a brand name recognition appeal in finance areas for the average American who are not well equipped to make investment decisions themselves. Prudential will be around for a very long time, much like Coke and Wells Fargo Bank.

Disclosure: I am long Prudential.

Goldman Conviction Buy list with a target of $81. I'm not sure that will happen but I am using this to track Goldman's prediction.

Cramer's thesis: stock lost 20% on Japan worries, despite the fact that this company has no risk exposure to Japan. I'd like to get a piece of the 'rock' - the rocks in the head of the people who depressed the stock price this much!

This is mainly to counter-weigh my pick with AEG with a safer competitor. PRU should see steady gains up to the high 60's within a year.

This stock has been outperforming the S&P for a while now. While the recent downturn in stocks has affected it like most stocks, this one is cheap. P/E at 5.6, and it pays a solid dividend.
