As a Caps pick saying this Utility company ETF will out perform is the same as saying I think the S&P will continue lower. This ETF is not as likely to fall as much as the Dow or S&P since Utility Companies profits should do fine. Basically if the Dow goes up this ETF will go up but not as much as the S&P and if the S&P goes down it won’t go down as much. So in a declining market this won’t decline as much making it outperform the S&P.
