Interesting play on metals, in that they are not totally dependant on the commodity, but generate some good research. It's dipping back into the low $2's now, so time to add into the position.

I'm adding PZG purely out of curiosity and the possibility that a buyout will be happening soon. Going with my gut on this one.

"Never buy a stock based on its being a takeover." But PZG is the exception that proves the rule.

PZG's de facto parent, FCMI, is grooming it for the exact same trajectory as Arizona Star.

There is no desire to make this a stand-alone operating company. It will either be folded into FCMI's biggest "bet," Seabridge, or sold to a well-heeled outsider. The rumor mill has both NEM and Barrick looking at it closely.

Note that it was Barrick which bought out Arizona Star, with the exact same Cast of Characters, at 18 dollars a share. It had been trading at 3 dollars a share a few short months earlier.

The company operates only in politically safe areas, and drill results get better and better.

If the PMs have a big rally the end of this year, PZG will likely be taken out in 2012. Otherwise, the target is first half 2013.

Well, Paramount just pulled a Brigus...diluting existing shares to generate capital. I UNDERSTAND the tactic, but naive little me thinks that it IS a bit unfair to present shareholders. Oh well, we play the cards we're dealt, huh?

I love the discounted price. I expect it to be up to $3.50 by this time next year.

Great reserves, dwindling resource=great value to buyout or begin mining partnership.

With these latest test results and the fact that PZG has been transparent the whole time about their being an exploration company, not a mining company, I believe that this will be a 5-bagger at a minimum. The mining company besides them is in full operation with all the infrastructure in place, both digging and selling their gold on the open market. If they dont buy PZG, they will be allowing an easy decision to any CEO and board of directors to buy them out now to turn instead into a bidding war with other companies. The big mining companies know the whole business and have to be efficient and cost effective. If you only need to dig because the explorers have already done the discovering, enormous exploration costs have already been averted. I know they stated they cannot afford to begin mining operations without a partner in their latest 10k dated 09-12-2011, but they never intended to mine the property from the beginning.

GOLD AND SILVER ARE CLIMBING. I expect Paramount gold to do the same. Silver should hit $5o/oz. by 4th of July.

All drill holes are positive. Company Continue to indicate positive results, with all engaged projects. Expect it to be a takeover target, expect share price to rise to 12.00+ and then again on takeover announcement.

Paramount based on previous news releases is expected to update their resource report by the end of March 2011 with at least 5,000,000 ounces expected. Stock should triple or double near term. They are updating their sleeper resource report in June 2011 and they have been finding more gold then expected in the sleeper mine.

Silver will rise in price twofold if not more and this will leave pzg in a very healthy position.

Great stock to put a limit order at $3/share and trade the bounces. This could be an easy 2 bagger.
