With a new catering menu out they should see higher guest check averages and higher profitability. At $26, it's a strong buy.

High dairy and agricultural prices will squeeze cost of goods and eventually earnings.

My favorite pizza ... ever. Their online ordering is easy and convenient, and they made it simple to customize your pizza.
I also receive great offers from them around once a week so they are always a relevant buying option.

Papa John's pizza has always in the past been a good choice for pizza. But sadly I think that its time as a major competitor may be ending. The competition is too well known and advertised. It is going down slowly but surely. But if you are looking for some easy points I recommend PZZA as a good pick. Maybe they will somehow bring themselves back up once again.
Recs
Recent strong sell off makes this an attractive pickup. I like the gross margins PZZA has. Plus, I like their pizza better than domino's.

Shake Up in Management...just might result in more dough!

They seem to have their distribution well maintained and product selections rival if not beat the competition. This should allow for them to excell in the sector.

Papa John's International, Inc. is the third largest pizza company in the world based on sales or number of units. The company operates and franchises pizza delivery and carryout restaurants under the trademark Papa John’s in the United States and internationally. In the United Kingdom the company also operates under the trademark of Perfect Pizza. The company owns and franchises approximately 3,000 Papa John’s restaurants in 49 US states and 25 countries.
The company has recently reported solid growth performance in the third quarter and this trend is expected to continue in the fourth quarter as well as for the fiscal year 2007. The company is consistently working towards growing its unit numbers and plans for 4% to 5% growth domestically and 30% to 35% internationally for 2007. Amid the leaders in the U.S. pizza market, Pizza Hut and Domino’s, Papa John’s is well on a road to acquire some market share due to its well spread brand awareness and presence in some under-penetrated markets. Adding to this, the company has recently ranked number one among all LSR restaurants in the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) for the seventh year in a row.
The company has been consistently launching new products in the market with the recent being Superman Pan Pizza that is expected to increase guest traffic and boost profit. It is also expected that the company has much more new offering in the pipeline for the coming months. The company is strategically eying to tap the large untapped international pizza market, which can be shown by its recent acquisition of its Chinese franchisee with five stores and reorganization of their Mexican operations.
Looking at the increased brand awareness of the company in the U.S. and its initiatives to exploit the large international market it seems that there is no looking back for Papa John’s International.

Their pizza is good and I always try to buy what I know, but I just can't give this one a thumbs up. PJ's just doesn't stand out from the rest of the pizza crowd enough.

I can't believe I haven't chosen a pizza company yet! Love that EPS growth rate of 30.4% and ROE of 34%.

good entry point

Pizza is loosing its appeal to other kinds of fast food. Pizza industry is slowing.
Recs
who doesn't like pizza? What? you don't? then you will make this stock pick fail..... that's not nice...
Recs
what can I say I like their pizza and the company too.
Recs
Sure I love the pizza. That being said i like the continued purchase of franchise stores by corporate, the great sames stores sales growth and how the focus on delivery. Key thing to keep in mind. The pizza does NOT have to be better than your local joint for this stock to work!
Recs
I have just always liked their pizza better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. Maybe it's the bread or the spices or just the secret recipe, but this pizza has just tasted lighter, fresher, and all together better.
