The Pie5 concept is just beginning, but they definately have it right. The restaurant space is small but accomodating, the menu is tight and flexible (i.e. order a prescribed pie or go rogue with any ingredient in the bins). The help is courteous and very interested in customer service. The Pizza tastes great and it comes out in 3 minutes. What is not to like?

Negatives? The pizzas are one size fits all. There is no economy for those accustomed to the typical "big group? big pie!" ordering adjustment. This is great for margins and capitalizes with higher margins per sale. I would return again and again if there was a location remotely close to me.

If they can continue to grow in prime locations, the customers will follow.

It is all about Pie Five! I'm excited to see what happens when the stores in Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, and Kansas City open.
