Questcor recently posted earnings of 45 cents per share for the fourth quarter, up 697% from the same quarter one year ago. Questcor has also repurchased their shares from Shire Pharmaceuticals, possibly pointing to a takeover worth $937.5 million, based on past purchases made by Shire, equating to approximately $12.5 per share. Although there is no word from Questcor stating this, it does appear entirely possible. Questcor also has a new drug in the pipeline, an orally dissolvable treatment for pain, which would put them in a $1.9 billion annual market.

Restructuring is growing cash at $8 million per month (25% of market cap will be cash in one year), debt free, new drugs in pipeline, pursuing a blockbuster that will take 2 years to develop-which in drug land is very quick.
