PE of over 21 for top tech firms seems like good consumer news is baked in. Any disappointment will bring down firms like AAPL which are trading at bubble era multiples.

Bill Gross loading up on TIPS...Meredith Whitney warning of another crisis in housing and the undercapitalization of banks...Skyrocketing gold and oil prices from a year-over-year basis...Unemployment still going up...Commercial real estate bubble about to burst (witness CapMark bankruptcy case) -- assets are being fire sold and the secondary market is on the verge of freezing up again when the need to refinance commercial loans is high...All-in-all, I see DOW 8,000 and NASDAQ $1,600 in the next six months to a year.

I hate to do this but....
This is not an attempt to score points with market timing. I am not calling a top, nor do I believe I have the ability to time the market. I attempt to make this account match my real account which I have recently hedged for the near to intermediate term. Unfortunately, green thumbing an ultra is the only way to hedge a CAPS account. I hope to lose points on this pick.

I recently ran into this article on an Ultra oil ETF strategy:

By shorting each side of the Long/Short ETFs I will eventually come up on the positive end. Not sure how effective this will be in real life but long term on CAPs combo-ing these ETF is a sure winner.
