don't buy any ultrashort. they have sky high expense ratios and are guaranteed to lose whether the market moves up, fluctuates, or even move down while fluctuating. Ultrashort etfs are okay if you are a day trader, but they will definitely lose over the long term.

Way too many uncertain factors to keep this market aloft. Flat unemployment, housing dipping, mortgage rates ticking up, Fed rates poised to climb...I think the low-hanging fruit has been plucked and the momentum has stalled. Maybe not a bubble, but a correction seems to be on the horizon.

Bill Gross loading up on TIPS...Meredith Whitney warning of another crisis in housing and the undercapitalization of banks...Skyrocketing gold and oil prices from a year-over-year basis...Unemployment still going up...Commercial real estate bubble about to burst (witness CapMark bankruptcy case) -- assets are being fire sold and the secondary market is on the verge of freezing up again when the need to refinance commercial loans is high...All-in-all, I see DOW 8,000 and NASDAQ $1,600 in the next six months to a year.
