Has been through a rough patch, but 11/20/08 settlement of lawsuit removes largest risk factor. Good debt ratio, recent stock buyback also improve RAIL's position. Sales should grow as oil prices rebound, increasing the demand for low-cost bulk transportation.

The industry is in hard times, even so, company had good Q3 reports..stock is away under valued showing a strong support in the 18-20$ range.
Company hold very big amount of cash and no debt (120M case while market cap is around 200M).
This is a sure buy,,,with alot of petient...target price in the long range is at least 60$.

Transportation getting very expensive as fuel prices rise. Not to mention that with the price of labor rising in China, Korea, and elsewhere, it is becoming more cost effective to manufacture in Mexico, and rail is one of the main ways to transport goods in and out of our neighbor to the South.
