Regions Financial Corp (NYSE:RF)

The new home builders are finally showing signs of recovery,also foreclosed home prices are recovering & they are selling to investors that look to rent them or sell for profits. the regional banks that lend to investors or good credit home buyers should prosper.

This bank will outperform the stock market over the long term as its fundamentals are improving and the share price will show this as it will move up from here.

It finally got down to back under $6.00.

In light, will wait and watch for more buying opportunities.

Will take some time to come back to what they were, but have finally turned it around.

Book value exceeds current price. I am not crazy about the company or the stock. It can go lower but I am willing to say it will outperform provided they are able to sell their investment banking division and Morgan Keegan although there are no buyers currently. If they are able to pay off the TARP loan it will more than double. If they don't Regions could be in deep, deep trouble.

Banks are down. Regions will jump back up to 6-8 dollars in a month or so.

it's a good bank I personally use, it's better imo than STI...SunTrust..at $4 share, RF is a bargain!!

This company has been, one of the best places to work and that has translated into some of the best customer service you will get in any financial institution. The company is changing the way it does business based on the changes in regulation and the economy as a whole. They have exceeded expectations, although not by much, and will become even more profitable in the not to distant future.

Regional bank that has turned the corner. Balance sheet improving. Could be a takeover candidate, but can still stand on it's own and grow. Buy on dips and hold for longer term.

good biz plan & with their numbers a good acquisition for a bigger bank

Good deposit for a Regional bank, getting back into the bigger markets for Auto Lending....Because they have to lend money...their going to lend for new homes until the housing market levels off..

Regions bank is a popular southern bank that is beginning to make a push to expand up the eastern seaboard. I believe they will be successful because they combine quality personal banking with familiar feel that people will begin to latch on to. Regions has a chance to make a big name for itself while the industry tries to pull itself back together.
