Jim Rogers we trust. Lots of info on YouTube gives you an idea about Jim Rogers' philosophy. I invest with people, whom I like and trust. He is the one I trust. Even if he makes mistakes - who doesn't?
Recs
If you can watch a Jim Rogers interview and;
A) Understand what he's saying; and
B) Do Math
Then inevitably you are led to
C) Buy this.

Commodity supplies are dwindling due to a previous decade of low prices. Supply is outpacing demand, and this will be magnified due to all of the money being printed across the world.
Also, many crops (soybeans included) are near historic supply lows. Corn and sugar is increasingly being used to create ethanol.

I don't have much coverage in Ag and this ETF allows me one stop diversity in this sector. Demand for food is not going down anytime soon and Asia has over 70% of the world's population and growing, that's a lot of hungry mouths to feed. As the middle class in this region grows so will their demand for better food. In India the single most significant indicator of wealth is what one eats for dinner. Buy n ride.

Agricultural products are essential and will bounce back sooner rather than later.
Recs
Food demand will always be there.

Inflation Hedge
Recs
Provides direct exposure to agriculture commodities. The world is running out of arable land coupled with the strongly increasing demand from emerging markets consumers and increasing use of food based products as biofuel.
Recs
Jim Rogers managed top performing index in etN form.
Ag will outperform the next two years to four years due to decreasing arable land, water shortage and irrigation issues, increasing global middle class demand for food, increase in cost of farming inputs and idiotic ethanol policies. Probably the perfect inflation hedge.
Swedish govt owns underwriting firm so little risk of firm default on the notes.

cheap way to get in the game of life ....

If I were to pick one Ag ETF to invest in, it would be this one. I like it much better than DBA.
World's population is growing and emerging economies are demanding more access to meat which is grain intensive. Food shortages are occuring. Corn ethanol is contibuting. USD will continue its death spiral despite the Feds recent "talk" regarding inflation. No matter what justification the government uses for its "core" rate of inflation argument, you can't really talk about inflation without considering FOOD and ENERGY. Hedge against the Food component of inflation with this ETF.

Waited for the Pull-Back now jumping in. Actually, I don't really like ETNs but am definitely long-term bullish on agriculture, any suggestions on alternative ETFs for Agriculture pls post a reply. Rogers is a visionary but not necessarily original. Read OT, price of barley (equivalent to grain) will hit the roof.
Recs
Recent pull back is a good time to jump on the agriculture commodity train.

Soft commoditites bull market

Nobody has brought on any new supply of anything in the past 25 or 30 years. The last gigantic oil field was discovered in the 1960s. The number of acres devoted to wheat farming has been declining for more than 30 years. Food inventories are the lowest they've been in 60 years...

With the massive food inflation and people wanting to eat more meat i think that this stock is poised for some insane growth. Then again who are we to bet against jim rogers? if jim rogers is right ill be super happy and if hes wrong ill be like oh dear what hs happening to the world. With agriculuture seriously depressed compared to other comodities i think that this stock is going to do very well over the next year.
