Good gamble at this price. I like the royalty angle, it eliminates all the bad like labour and production costs/setbacks, but still takes into account the higher profits reached from higher market prices

Royalty based model offers upside potential to increased metals prices without the risk and costs associated with mining.

It's good to invest in this industry, especially in the long-term. This stock is likely to give you good earnings in the next few years...

Why not skim the ROYalties off the top of miners?

Looking around I found this hot stock. and this is why I am picking this one.
Revenues for 2007 increased 245% to $49.9 million, as compared to $20.3 million for 2006. Royalty revenues in the fourth quarter of 2007 were $12.7 million, compared to $9.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2006.

When you see this trend in a ugly market, invest, sit back and watch your money grow!!!

Looks like a good young mining company. Not a lot to look at as far as earnings, but what is there looks good. They have good cash flow. They are mining in multiple continents. I think the sky is limit for this stock and I'm going long in Caps. I may even buy a few shares in the real world on this one but I'll need to do a little more homework first.

The mining industry is a very good sector to be in right now. Much of the worlds metals that were mined throughout our history are still in use somewhere today. Due to inflation, the metals sector is an excellent sector to be in, due to the fact as the dollar declines, metals such as gold will only increase in value. The nation will always need multiple forms of fuel as the price of oil continues to increase... so coal and uranium will keep looking like better and better investments.

However, on the other side, metals always go through cycles. Starting around three years ago, we began our upward trend. While we will probably continue this upward trend for quite some time with the current market, one must realize there will be a large correction at some point. I would say that the metals/mining stocks will be good for at least a couple years.

Being in the mining industry, I feel quite safe. Copper is doing amazing right now, as is gold and uranium. I feel safe in my position as an investor and an employee, which should say volumes about the status quo of the market.

Now that commodity prices are tanking, ROY’s share price is also tanking. This looks like a buying opportunity to me. Commodity prices will recover eventually. And when they do, ROY’s stock should provide ample rewards.

International Royalty is well position to take advantange if the enormous momentum in Nickel. They also will not see any of hte increased costs associated with mining metals becasue they are purely royalty. In addition they have a number of other projects that should within time begin contributing to their bottom line and diversify their exposure across more metals.

I originally bought this mineral company as an income stock, but it has ticked up a few points since then as well.
