A great small to mid cap oil company. They are growing both organically, through drilling smarter more efficient wells, and through acquisition, small but often overlooked opportunities that many of their larger brethren simply ignore. On the downside, they tend to increase their stock float with secondary offerings to make these acquisitions however to this point they have only done so in moderation and used this cash to pay down debt and make the aforementioned acquisitions. I'm along for the ride for the foreseeable future.
Recs
Strong independent with a large portfolio of leases upon which to drill. They also do a good job of maximizing what they have.

Fine energy exploration company. Been beaten down recently due to the decline in energy prices. Chance to buy on this downturn. Great long term investment.

Energy will continue to be a growth market and RRC is well positioned to exploit.
