the share price of res-Care inc. has been pummelled amongst declining earnings estimates and concern about reimbursement rates for the company's services. Although the company's problems are significant, the selloff has been too extreme. This company is profitable and solvent. For 2010 expected earnings are $1.13 per share. The company typically trades for 1.2 times book value. At 0.7 times book value and 8 times forward earnings, this company is a bargain.
