Rentech, Inc. (AMEX:RTK)

Just shed an ill-fated -ev project which was holding back value. Mid-December reports will get the market excited. Ton of cash per share, a majority stake in RNF worth roughly $2.00 per RTK share, and no debt as a result of recent spin off RNF IPO. This is a 3 dollar stock discounted by 50% because of well-founded worries about bad management. However, today's move shows that RTK won't (intentionally) waste shareholder money on bad projects, and this should instill some confidence in the market.

After two years finally up!!!

at top of trading range... seems pricey

This company has a bright future,I wouldn't be suprised to see rtk trading at 10 to 15 dollars in two years

From Rentech's Q2 results.

"Olympiad project, scheduled to be in service in 2015, will be designed using the Rentech-ClearFuels gasification system and the Rentech Process to produce the only type of alternative jet fuel certified for use in commercial aviation today... After working closely with the SDTC for over a year, our application was formally accepted and is currently in review. If approved, the federal program could fund up to CAD $200 million of the Olympiad Program's development and construction costs, which would be repaid without interest from a percentage of the projects cash flows."

As well as other on-going projects at Rialto and Port St. Joe. They have an attractive outlook with phased projects coming online in the next couple years. I believe this is a great opportunity to score an emerging stock at an unbelievable price.

US Air Force has already approved Rentech's jet fuel and several airlines in Los Angeles and Houston have committed to using their bio-diesel when it becomes available. A potential takeover candidate but future looks bright as a stand alone. I am accumulating and holding.

There will be lots of demand for bio fuel. The price for the stock is low but I think that it will increase 150%+ in the next year or so.

Middle East turmoil make alt fuels attractive. Also, if larger oil companies see opportunity, they may make a run at small independents...military is also looking at alt fuel should supplies be limited and of course there is the Green movement that could support some upward pricing. I am buying and holding...

RTK signed new customers in 2010. Ranked 25th in the top 50 Biofuels companies in 2010. Earnings will increase in 2011 Buy the DIP!!!

Buying this below a dollar as much as i can till 2012 depending on earnings and outlook. Holding til 2015! 2012 a big year. 9.8 Millions Barrel per yr capacity and then in 2015 in the mississippi plant over 200 million barrels per yr of its fuel. This stock alone could make the next wave of millionaires for the next 10 yrs IMO

Revenues going to positive soon and only going to get bigger as the biofuel market looks for companies that stand out in quality and efficient processes

This company is positioned superbly to take advantage of our administration,s focus on reducing this country's dependance on oil. RTK has the Proven product, process and contracts with civilian airlines as well as our military to deliver synthetic jet fuel . With loan guarantees from government and or funding from private sources to support facility developement this stock will "soar"..

Bargain price for a company on the move. Watch what happens when they break ground on the Rialto project next year for which they already have sales contracts in hand. They also have a fertilizer business for cash flow and prime real estate in Natchez. With help from their partners they convert green waste, natural gas or coal to clean-burning diesel or jet fuel using low cost iron-based catalysts.

Obama is giving money to alternative fuels research and producers and it looks like they may have some major contracts coming up with commercial airlines. Not to mention that alternate fuels are gonna get some major press when Iran shuts down the Strait of Hormuz next year when things boil over with Israel.

Just see Oil and Gas as an industry in synthetic fuels which will grow.
