Cisco has inched into Riverbed's core business market segment, the enterprise customers, and has won more and more deals from Riverbed with bundled total solutions. I would think that going forward Riverbed has a tough time to compete with Cisco. More

I recently attended training on the company's Steelhead product and was quite impressed by how it performs. They have quite an appliance, which is scalable to difference size WANs.

Riverbed technology is "into the development of innovativ and comprehensive solutions that address the inter-reated root caused of poor performance of wide-area distributed computing" Huh? This stock is significantly overvalued and insiders seem to know it. They are selling at a rapid pace. The stocks highest roe on record is 3.9%. In most years, it loses money. Currently selling for 4.46 times book value and 127 times earnings.
